COTTAGE ST  VS Kelly Square Pub

R Trainito / B Dellorusso

2-0 Kelly Square Pub

Season started with last years finalists that went down to the wire in a 4-3 series win for Cottage St.  Top of the 2nd the scoring would start with Mark Shea driving in games first run and put the Pub up 1-0.  Kelly Square would add another run in the top of the 6 and Billy Dellorusso would pitch 6 hitless and scoreless innings for the win. 

FURIES vs Misfits

P Leone / D Screnci

Misfits 2-1

These two teams would make the semi's last year.  Misfits would strike first.  Current HR King Jerry Dilorenzo would hit a hr for his new team and then later in same inning former HR King S Grutti would connect on his own and put Misfits up 2-0.  Newly acquired D Disiscio would cut the lead to 2-1 then in the bottom of the 6, Furies would put their first two batter on by base hits by Disiscio n Screnci but Paul Leone would K the next three and secure the 2-1 victory.

Furies vs KELLY SQUARE PUB

D Screnci / G Carino

1-1 Tie

This game would start off with a bang.  After geting the leadoff guy, G Carino would face Dennis Screnci and be warned not to throw another pitch as last.  He did not but however Screnci would hit the next pitch through the Pino Center Ceiling for a 1-0 Furies lead.  Game would stay that way.  Kelly Square would be the home team and last to hit.  Screnci continued to sail and retire the first two batter.  But with only one out left G Carino would have his revenge on Dennis and hit a solo shot to tie game at 1 and it would stay that way as Screnci and Carino would throw 1 run games and account for both teams rbi's.

MISFITS vs Cottage St

B Beddia / R Trainito

Misfts 2-0

Starters Trainito and Beddia would throw 0's up throught the first 4 innings.  Bottom of the 5 new Misfit Jerry Dilorenzo would stirke again and put his team up 2-0 on a 2-R HR and then Beddia would go out for top of 6 and secure the W getting Cottage St 1-2-3.  Misfits would out hit their opponent 8-1

EBYC vs Brandywyne

1-0 EBYC

This game was S Vitale's first officail start as a member of EBYC.  This game also was game number 1 for Brandywywne and all its members.   Our league would like to welcome you.  Great group of new guys that added to the characters involved.    Coming back after a down year, Neil McBride would connect for a solo shot and put EBYC up 1-0. S Vitale would go 6 no hit n scoreless innings getting his first Yacht Club victory.

COUSINS vs Raiders

S Bossi / D Pedrazzi

2-0 Cousins

Game would be scoreless through 4 1/2.  In the bottom of that inning the Cinelli connection struck for 2 solo shots starting with Scott's first of the season and then Tommy connecting on his own 2 batters later and put Cousins up 2-0.  Pitch S Bossi would make those runs be all he needed pitching the 6 inning shutout.  S Cinelli would go 3-3 for his team.

Ebyc vs RAIDERS

S Vitale / Braz

4-3 EBYC

Former Raider and current EBYC pitcher S Vitale would get to face his former team right away.  This was the game of the day.  Vitale would make his impact right away hitting a solo hr and give his team a 1-0 in the top of the 1.  Game would now be in the top of the 3 and this time Vitale would strike again but this time for a 2R HR and Yacht Club would go up 3-0.  Greg Danilchuk would add his own solo shot and Vitale would make those runs stand up in this 4-3 victory.  Dave Chez would hit a HR and R Neuner would go 3-4 in losing effort for Raiders.

BRANDYWYNE vs Cousins

S Brady / S Bossi

0-0 TIE

This would be a pitchers duel.  Both pitchers would put the opposing team to sleep as well as anyone watching.  HAHA love u guys.  This game would be leagues first and hoepfully last 0-0 draw.  Bossi and Brady went 6 scoreless

Dellorusso n Bossi would square off in the start of the days action.  Dellorusso would retire Cousins 1-2-3 in the top of 1st the in bottom of that inning leadoff with a basehit.  2 batters later and Kelly Square Pub would go up 2-0 on a 2-run HR by Mark Shea.  Bottom of the 3rd A Carino would lead off with a hit and once again, Pub would answer with another 2 runner but this time from A Forbes.  B Dellorusso would have more then enough to close out the win with a 6 inning shut out.  A Forbes would pace the Pubs offense with 3 hits (1b, 2b, HR).

FURIES vs Brandywyne

1-0 Furies

In the other starting game of the day Dante Screnci would start the game.   Furies needed a second starter to help their Ace top player in league Dennis Screnci and Dante may just be that.  Both starters would keep their teams in it and all square until M Cintolo would hit a solo shot and Dante would come out and get Brandywyne 1-2-3 in the 6th for the win.

BRANDYWYNE vs Kelly Square Pub

3-0 Kelly Square Pub

Mark Shea and Dana would both be making their first starts of season.  Shea and Kelly Square Pub would not have to wait long to get the lead as in the top of 1st, red hot B Dellorusso would start game with a HR.   Game would stay that way until the top of the 5th once again Dellorusso would homer and The Pub would go up 2-0.  Dellorusso is the leagues best hitter and really shows it each and every week but today really smacked the ball all over.  Shea would pitch a complete game shutout and also add a solo HR of his own and The Pub would go on for a 3-0 win and sweep their 2 games on day.  Skully and Paul would have a hit apiece for Brandywyne.  

Cousins vs FURIES

S Bossi / Dennis Screnci

1-0 Furies

Furies were also looking to sweep their 2 games on day and had their ace Dennis Screnci on the mound.  Score would stay 0-0 throught 3 1/2 innings.  Not until the Btm 3rd Dennis would change that and hit a solo shot for a 1-0 lead.  He would make that hold up and go 6 for the shutout win.  S Cinelli would have 2 hits for Cousins.

3-1 Cottage St

This game had a little twist as leagues back to back champs started the season 0-2 while the Yacht Club was 2-0.  Yacht Club would strike right away in first AB on a N McBride solo shot for a 1-0 lead.  That lead didnt last to long and batters 1 and 2 in the Cottage Street order would go back to back with homers by T Scanlon n M Cucchiello and take a 2-1 lead.  Scanlon would then strike again for a solo shot and his second of the game to give Cottage St the 3-1 advantage.  Cucchiello would make that hold up and get the W in this 3-1 final and first win of the season for Cottage St.

MISFITS vs Raiders

B Beddia / Braz

3-0 Misfits

Misfits would start Bobby Beddia in this one.  Raiders would go down 1-2-3 in the first and in the home half of the inning red hot S Grutti hit a solo shot to get his team to a 1-0 lead.  Bottom of the 2 newly acquired Mikey I would single and then with a man on S Grutti would once again do what he has been since coming into league and hit another homer but this time a 2 runner and Beddia would make that hold up.  Pitching his way to the 3-0 W going 6 1 hit scoreless innings.  R Neuner would have a hit for Raiders in this one.

RAIDERS vs Cottage St

Braz / R Trainito

2-0 Raiders

This game was a good one from the get go.  Braz and Trainito would pitch 4 1/2 scoreless innings and keep things 0-0.  Bottom of the 5, R Neuner would line a double off the wall and put a runner on 2nd.  New league player B. Diaz would then connect on his first HR of season and Raiders would go up 2-0.  After allowing a leadoff base hit, Braz would buckle down and get the next three batters for the shutout W.   R Neuner has been great for the Raiders so far early in this season with 6 hits over 4 games. 

EBYC vs Misfits

A Beraldo / P Leone

4-0 Misfits

Beraldo and Leone would match 0's through 4 innings.  Top 5 P Leone would help himself and hit a solo shot for the 1-0 lead.  Next batter Mikey I would single and then S Grutti would do it again for this 4th of the early season and inning would end 3-0 in the Misfits favor.  B Beddia would add a solo shot to go up 4-0 and Leone would end his outing with the victory and Misfits first ever 4-0 start.

COTTAGE ST vs Furies

J Turco / Dante Screnci

0-0

Start of the day had a good one here between Cottage St playing JP Furies.  Cottage St the defending champs were getting their top 2 players back and hoping their 2 W on the young season.  Pitching was the deal in this one.  Both Turco and Dante would put up 0's all the way through in this 0-0 tie.  Game had a total of 3 hits with Derek D, G Harris and M Scarpa all getting singles in the tie. 

COUSINS vs ebyc

S Bossi / Beraldo

7-2 Cousins

The other early day start had Cousins facing EBYC.  This game had a little different theme as teams combined put up 9 runs total.  Bottom of the 1st and thats when Cousins would start their hitting on day.  Leadoff batter S Cinelli would single and before you knew it one of the leagues good younger guys J Petrucelli would connect on a blast into the automatic hr area.  Then trying to show his younger boy that he can homer as well, dad Mark Petrucelli would hit a 3 R HR and before the 3rd inning would roll around it was a 5-0 lead for Cousins.  Once again S Cinelli would single to start the 3rd and hitting his 2nd 2-R HR of the day, J Petro homers and its lights out as S Bossi would throw a complete game victory to give Cousins the 7-2 win.  EBYC had newly called up Joe Bruno and Gregg Danilchuk pacing the offense with 2 hits apiece.  Cousins as a team would have 10 hits.

FURIES vs ebyc

1-0 Furies

Game had recently callled up old timer and one of EB real OG's of East Boston halfball Joe Bruno getting the call on mound to face a tough Furies team.  Pitchers both were on as Bruno was dealing vs Dennis Screnci and they both kept their teams in it.  Dennis who is just as scary at the plate, woud HR in the Btm of the 5th and then Dennis would go out in the top 6 and make the run hold up in the 6 inning shutout. Treyson Scarpa would play his first reg season game going 1-2 with a 1B.  In one game he is now halfway to having as many hits as his father.  (This was reported from JP Furies camp.  I cannot say this info its true or false.).  Anyway having Treyson around is great to see em play with us old men. 

COTTAGE ST vs Cousins

6-0 Cottage St

After starting the day with 0 runs, Cottage St was looking to get some of their power going and throw up some runs and that they would do early in this one.  After getting out of the top of 1st, Cottage St would get three straight hits with the last one being a 3 R HR by T Scanlon and they were off with a 3-0 lead.  Next inning, G Harris would get in and on the fun and hit a solo shot with T Scanlon going yard 2 hitters later and the  rout was on.  Harris would in fact hit his 2nd solo shot in the 3rd, then his 3rd.  Yes his 3rd solo to give hime a 3 HR game and going 4-4 at the plate.  Turco and a little help from D Beatrice would throw a combined no hitter in this one. Top 3 batters in Cottage St lineup go 8-12 w/5 HR, 1 2B, 2 1B.

KELLY SQUARE PUB vs Raiders

This was the start of the late window of games today.  Kelly Sq Pub was facing off with Raiders.  Top of the 1st and J Luti would get a change up from Carino and hit it into the celing for a 1-0 Raider lead.  Didnt take Kelly Square long to tie game as B Dellorusso would hit a solo shot and tie the game at 1.  Bottom of the 3rd J Forbes would single then the very next hitter A Carino would hit a missle into the ceiling and his first HR of season giving his father the 3-1 lead.  B Dellorusso would come up later in inning and add another HR to go with his 3-4 day.  G Carino would shut the Raiders out the rest of the way giving up 3 hits from the 2nd on and collect the W.  J Forbes Kelly Sq was 2-3 with 2 basehits.

MISFITS vs Brandywyne

P Leone / Dana

5-0 Misfits

Other start of the late window had the 1st place Misftis looking to stay undefeated facing the newest team in OSHEB.  After Leone would get the game going in the  1st with a 1-2-3 inning.  Their offense came out in the bottom of the inning with 4 straight hits with  the 4th one being a HR for a grand slam from R Mazzaferro.  C Sinatra would hit a solo shot in the same inning and that would be all Leone would need.  He would finish on the mound allowing 1 hit and 0 runs in the complete game shutout.  Jonathan Scull would have Brandywyne Rays lone hit.

MISFITS vs Kelly Square Pub

2-1 Kelly Square Pub

This one was another big one on the day.  As i said before, Misfits already got another W and was 5-0 playing for 1st place with Kellys who was 4-0-1.  Pitching was great in this one.  Beddia throws as good as a game with just about anyone on  a regular and Dellorusso is always dealing as they both would be squared through 3.  Home team Misfits would then answer on a big error by Kellys G Carino and get a extra swing while ab and make it hurt.  Beddia's solo shot gave the Misfits the lead at 1-0 after 4.  Pitchers would keep it that way till the 6th.  Kellys Square was down to their last 3 outs with the top of their order coming up.  B Dellorusso would hit his 3rd HR on the day and tie the game at 1.  Next batter G Carino would follow Dellorusso's HR with his own and they go back to back and give the Pub the lead.  Dellorusso then went out and got the Misfits 1-2-3 to get the complete game 1 hit shutout.  J Forbes again would have a good hitting game going 3-4 with 3 base hits, giving him 5 on the day.  This was a great game to watch.  

RAIDERS vs Brandywyne

4-1 Brandywyne

Brandywyne came into this one still looking for their first W on season.  Raiders were the home team in this one as Brandywyne would get 4 straight hits giving them 2 runs and a quick 2-0 lead.  (Would give a little more detail guys but cannot understand how the runs scored on what type of hit from the score book) Scott Brady got the start for Rays.  Once again in the 2nd Rays would strike as Jonathan Skull and Scott Brady would hit HRs and Brady would have all he needed to secure the win.  Brady would go the distance and give the Brandywyne Rays their 1st ever victory.  Skull would also go 3-5 on day for Rays.

Furies vs Misfits

Misfits 1-0

Good matchup to start the day with Furies visiting Misfits.  After getting a 1-2-3 top half of the 1st, S Grutti didnt wait long to give his team a lead hitting a solo shot to give Misfits the 1-0 lead.  After that there wasnt much more to see hitting wise as both pitchers would throw up 0's the rest of the way.  B Beddia would be on the lucky end with Grutti's solo shot being the only run he needed to get the win.  Furies would out hit Misfits 3-1.  Dante Screnci on his end threw a great game with the one HR coming off a error.  Dante is what the Furies needed helping his brother Dennis form a great 1, 2 pitching wise.  

Raiders vs Cousins

J Kelbe / S Bossi

Cousins 6-0

The other start of the day had Cousins squaring off vs Raiders.  The game became the M Pertrucelli show.  M Petrucelli would hit a solo HR in the 3rd to give his Cousin team the lead.  That wasn't it.  M Pertrucelli decided to hit 2 more solo shots in the 5 & 6 innings and threw a base hit as well to go 4-5 with 3 hrs.  Wow this guy def ate his Wheaties this moring.  S Bossi would hold the Raiders to 1 hit over 6 scoreless innings for the W on the hill.

Misfits vs Cousins

1-0 Misfits

Game would wait till the bottom of the 3 before the scoring would start.  S Grutti would connect on a solo shot to give Misfits the 1-0 lead after 3.  That would be it for runs and team combined would total 3 hits as Leone and Bossi were dealing.  Grutti's HR would be the game winning rbi as Leone would go on to get the 2 hit shutout in this one.  M Petrucelli would add a hit for Cousins and have a great 5-9 day at the plate.  

Raiders vs Furies

J Kelbe / Dennis Screnci

1-0 Furies

Good pitching matchup in this one as J Kelbe would face off vs Dennis Srenci for Furies.  After getting a 1-2-3 top 1, Dennis decided to help himself out and hit a solo shot to give Furies the 1-0 lead.  That would be the last run of the game.  Dennis would throw a no hit shutout as Furies would get 5 hits as a team and go on to win this one.  J Kelbe pitched a good game as well and kept the Raiders in it through the whole game.

10-1 Kelly Square Pub

This game had the top team in the league Kelly Square on the road facing EBYC.  Kelly Square didnt wait long to get a run across as leadoff batter B Dellorusso would single and next batter G Carino would follow with a HR to give Kelly Square the early 2-0 lead.  4 batters later B Dellorusso would hit another 2-run HR to finish the first and the Pub was on there way.  A Carino would hit his own 3 pack of HR's having one in the 4, 5 and 6 innings.  The father son duo would be the first to hit 4 hrs in a game combined in OSHEB history. J Forbes adding one as well.  Kellys Square would pound out 13 hits with 6 HR's in this one.  G Carino would pitch for Kelly Square allowing 1 run over 6.  M Vitale would have a solo shot for EBYC.  A Carino would go 4-6 in game for Pub.  

Cottage St vs Brandywyne

J Turco / S Brady

2-0 Cottage St

Upstart Brandywyne was facing off against the back to back Cottage St here with Turco going up against Brady.  Bottom of the 2 the brothers would connect.  M Scarpa would single to put a runner on with 2 outs and big bro would bring him home on a 2 run HR.   Turco would be stingy on the mound allowing 1 hit in a scoreless 6 innings pitch and get the win for Cottage St.  Cottage St would get hits from 4 different players with A Scarpa's being the dagger.

1-0 Kellys Square

Game everyone was waiting for here.  This game was a one man show.  B Dellorusso has continued his torrid hitting with stifling pitching.  He would get the Pub the lead 1-0 in the Bottom of the 4 on a solo HR and then just no hit Cottage Street for the 1-0 W.  This game had some good defense played.  Both teams catchers were great in this one.  

Brandywywne vs EBYC

S Brady / S Vitale

0-0

This would be a pitchers duel in the 0-0 final.  Brandywyne out hit EBYC 7-2 in this one but couldnt produce a run.  Skully and N Desrochers would each have 2 hits apiece for Brandywyne.  J Bruno and S Vitale would single for EBYC.

First game off on field A had Raiders visiting Brandywyne.   Raiders came out hitting.  After a leadoff out, batters 2,3,4 would all get hits with J Luti driving in the games first run with a rbi single.  That would be the last run of this game.  J Kelbe would go the distance in the 2 hit shutout for the Raiders.  S Brady on the other side pitched a great game as well going the distance in a losing effort.

Other side of the gym had Cottage going to Cousins.  After a score top of the inning, Cousins was looking to put one across and take a early lead in the bottom of the inning.  After a double by J Petrucelli and basehit from T Cinelli, Cousins would have 2nd and 3rd with just one out.  But after 2 straight K's from M Petrucelli n Fab, Turco would get out of inning without allowing a run.  R Trainito would single in the top of the 2nd and leadoff batter G Harris would connect on his first HR of the day and Cottage was on top 2-0.  Solo shots later in the game from D Beatrice and A Scarpa would all Turco would need.

Both teams would be looking to bounce back and get a W to finish the day.  Both pitchers would get through 3 innings without allowing a run.  Cousins was at home in this one and in the bottom of the 4, S Cinelli would connect with a solo shot to give his team a 1-0 lead.  Cinelli has been one of the top hitters for his team and in league.  Bossi would make that run hold up and get the victory going the distance in this 2 hit shutout.

Misfits came into this matchup big favorites and looking to keep pace with 1st place Kellys.  Game would be scoreless after 2.  Bottom of the 3, R Mazzaferro would double and P Leone single and Misfits would have runners at the corners with 1 out.  M Iannacone would then sigle and put Misfits up 1-0.  Game would stay that way until the top fo the 6 N McBride would connect on a rocket and give EBYC the lead at 2-1 with a 2 run HR.  WIth three outs to go, S Grutti lead of the last of the 6 and tie game with a HR.  Game would end that way as both pitchers would go the distance in the 2-2 tie.

Second matcup between the leagues 1st and 2nd place teams.  Misftis was trying to avenge a 2-1 loss early in the season allowing back to back hrs in the last inning to lose it.  Game would play out almost the same.  Both pitchers were dealing in this one.  Billy and Paul are two of the best pitchers u will see in the league.  Game would be scoreless through 4.  Top of the 5, leading off M Iannacone would connect with a HR and Misftis would grab a 1-0 lead.  Bottom of the inning Treyson Scarpa would lead off with a double and Dellorusso would follow with a single but Leone would get the next three batters and get out of the jam and keep his team ahead.  Kelly Square had one more chance to either tie or win the game in the 6.  Down to their last out, B Dellorusso would hit a roof shot and game was tied.  Thats how it would end.  Another great game to end this weeks games.  With the tie, Kelly Square pub would hold on to the top spot in the standings by 1 point over Misfits.

This game was a Carino/Dellorusso show.  Kelly's 1, 2 hitters were hot.  M Braz was looking to hold the duo.  After getting 4 straight swing and misses, Dellorusso would not miss another.  Solo HR and Kellys was on the board.  Minute later Carino would connect on a shot and it was 2-0 which Carino would only need to go the distance on the mound for the Pub.  Game would finish 4-0 with Dellorusso n Carino going 7-10 on 3 HRs and 4 singles.  Carino would finish the day pitching a no hit shutout.

Cousins was at Yacht Club in this one.   Cousins has a 1, 2 connection at the top of their lineup in S CInelli and J Petrucelli.  After a basehit by hot hitting CInelli, J would hit a 2 run HR and Cousins was off to a quick start. Top 4 and S CInelli was at it this time connecting on a 3R HR.  S Bossi would would allow 1hit in the complete game victory.  S Cinelli would finish 4-6 and Cousins would connect on 4 HR's combined as a team.

Kellys was looking to stay hot in this one and had Carino trying to wrap up a 2 win day on the hill.  Kellys would get things going in the 2nd.  A Carino would get his first of 4 hits in this one and have a man on.  B Dellorusso would then double and with runners on 2 & 3 G Carino would rip his second hit in as many innings and Kellys would go up 1-0.  Couple innings later and the younger Carino, Anthony would hit a bomb into the ceiling and that was all Carino would need.  Pub would throw another on the board from a J Forbes base hit.  Carino would the get another win throwing 6 shutout innings allowing 4 hits.  N McBride would be awesome at the plate going 3-4 on three base hits.

Coming off a big win in the first one, Cousins was looking to get another W on the day.  J Kelbe was looking to stop em as he was pitching for Raiders.  Rookie B Diaz would connect on a solo HR in the 2nd.  Raiders would lead 1-0 and Kelbe would take over.   After allowing a 1b in the second, the starter would go the final 15 outs for a 1 hit shutout.  Kelbe is and has always been tough on the mound and showed that today.

Starting the late window of games, this one had brothers facing each other in Anthony and lil but not so little Steve facing off.  Furies has a potent 1, 2 batters with D Diciscio n Dennis Screnci.  Combined they would go 9-10 with Diciscio going 5-5 with 4 1b and HR while Screnci would crush 3 HR's.  Furies would get hits from the 1, 2 batters and pound Cottage Street.  Dennis would go the distance allowing a solo shot from G Harris in the 7-1 1 hit effort.

Brandywyne is the new team and now has had half season under their belts.  Facing the hard hitting Misfits.  After a couple hits in the 1st, Misfits R Mazzaferro would connect for a 3R Hr.  Mazzaferro was a former Otis School yard player back in the 80's n early 90's.  Misfits would pound out 3 hr's as a team and Leone would dominate throwing a no hit shutout.

Misfits were looking to keep pace in behind Kellys.  After throwing 6 up in their first game, they decided to top that and post another 7.  Misfits are a very good team.  Pitching and hitting makes them a potential champion each year.  Top 1 and they were on their way.  After S Grutti would single, J Dilorenzo would hit a 2r HR and they were off.  Batters 1-2-3 in Misfits order would get 8 hits with 2 HR's in the win.  B Beddia would pitch his way to the win with a great 2 hit complete game shutout.

Another team playing very well this year, Furies was playing Brandywyne   D Disciscio would start it right up and homer for his 1 of 2 on the day and Furies would be up from the jump.  His next one would be another solo shot in the 4.  Furies would have all they needed as Dennis S looked sharp.  Tossing 2 hit, 1 run ball and grabbing another W for Furies.  N Desroachers would have 2 hits with a HR in a losing effort for Brandywyne.

Start of another week and Cottage St was facing off with Yacht Club.  Scoring would begin in the top half of the 3rd.  Just arriving J Turco would be put right up to bat and no sooner did he get in the box, GONE 1-0 Cottage Street on the Turco blast.  Same score Top of the 4th with Turco once again AB.  2-0 Cottage Street.  Turco got hold of another solo shot and R Trainito would throw a shutout and also add a solo shot in the game for the Cottage St victory.

Other field had a good game as well.  Top 2 Dana would hit a HR and put Brandywyne up.  Bottom 2 with 2 outs Dave DiCisere would tie it with a solo HR of his own.  Today was the last time Dave was playing with us.  He is moving to Las Vegas.   I met Dave 6 years ago playing in the original league.  Over that time he has become a good friend.  We are all going to miss him on Sundays and wish him the best.  Game would stay  tied until the Bottom of the 5, J Luti would hit a HR to put Raiders up for good.  Braz would get Brandywyne 1-2-3 in the 6 and this one was over.

Then again in the 2, S Brady would hit one of his own HR and Brandywyne was up 2-0.  Dana and Kirk would add solo shots as well and Dana would get the win in this one.  N McBride would account for the only yacht club run with a HR.

Second round of games began with a good one.  First place Pub facing 3rd place Furies.  These teams have tied their 2 games this year and was the final time they would matchup in the regular season.  D Dicisio would lead off the game with a hit but get stranded at first.  Bottom of the 1 it would'nt take the red hot Kelly Square Pub to get on the board.  A double by Dellorusso, Single by Carino would put runners at the corners.  M Shea would then single and it was 1-0 Pub.  M Shea would strike again but this time with a 2 run homer after a Carino base hit.  After lead off hit from A Forbes, B Dellorusso would connect on a 2 run HR.  5-0 Pub.  A Forbes would add a HR for Kelly Square and D Couldren for Furies.  B Dellorusso would pitch in the win.

Both teams coming off victories, were playing for solo possession of 1st with 4 games to play in regular season.  Pub was up first and once again, Dellorusso, Carino and Shea would be lethal.  Dellorusso double followed by a double from Carino and Pub was up 1-0.  Shea then following with a 2 run blast.  Misfits would be trailing 3-0 before getting up.  Top 3 Pub's J Forbes would hit a HR for a 4-0 lead.  G Carino would keep the misfits at bay until the 5th when S Grutti homer.  Then J Dilorenzo would double and B Beddia would follow with a basehit and Misfits were a hit away from tying it with no outs.  Carino would retire Mazzaferro and get a double play off P Leone and was out of the inning allowing only a run.  G Carino would throw a 1, 2, 3 6 and the Pub would take this one.
